It’s time to start taking “I am” from a negative statement to a positive one. How many times have you used the statement I am in a negative light? I am fat, I am too skinny, I am ugly, I am broke, I am unlucky, I am tired, I am sick of my life, I am not successful, I am unworthy of love, I am unworthy of a good life. I can continue to go on and on.
It’s time to stop the negative I am and make them positive. I am beautiful, I am worthy, I am rich, I am healthy, I am lucky, I am blessed, I am confident, I am successful, I am worthy of a good life! I am worthy of love, I am worth it! I am so awesome, I am a good person, I am a spiritual being, and I am intelligent! I am powerful!
In the past I have talked about keeping a journal and writing down the homework I have given you. Your homework today is to change your “I am” from negative to positive. Rewrite your “I am”. When you do this you begin to bring in the positive energy in your life. You become what you believe, so if you believe in the negative that is what you will become. So you need turn that around and believe in the positive, so you will become positive and you will in turn receive an abundance of positive things in your life.
I have mentioned several times that your thoughts are very powerful. Your mind is one of your most powerful tools. It is time to start using your mind to bring nothing but abundance in your life. Remember this if you want things to change in your life, you have to be willing to accept it. Change starts with you!
I want to know what “I am “are you going to change for the positive? Leave your comments below.

Fill in these blanks what are you happy and grateful for? It could be anything. What are you happy about? What makes you smile?
Take a notebook and write it down. Make sure you start your sentence with this statement; I am so happy and grateful now that. Keeping a journal about the things and people who make you happy is a great way to keep you focused on the positive. It is so easy to have our mind go to places we don’t want it to. It is so easy to go negative and feel bad about all the things we don’t have.
Instead we should be focusing on all the things we do have. Once you write down all the things you are grateful for and are happy about read it a few times. Keep it in a place where you can refer to it every day for one week straight.
Once the week is over, write a new entry with the same line, I am so happy and grateful now that. This time you are going to write about all the things you want and as you write these things down feel the joy of having the items. Feel like you already have it. Walk around like you have it, because after all it’s yours.
Keep an upbeat and positive attitude and the universe will respond. If you don’t show gratitude for what you already have, why would the universe provide you with anything else? It can be very hard to stay positive. I totally understand that.
We are all humans and we all have feelings and thoughts. But no matter what is going on in our lives we have to always try to remain positive. This is so that we can continue to receive positive energy in our lives. So that the positive energy trumps the negative energy. Just doing this exercise can make a world of a difference if we do it every day. We all go through ups and downs in our lives, but you have to learn how to shake it off and not let a little set bank put you in a funk. Staying in a funk can set you up for disaster that will be even harder to get away from.
So what are you waiting for? Get started and let me know how it goes. One thing I do want to mention is that if you write your second entry with all the things you want and include things or people who belong to others this will not work. Why? Because wanting something or someone who belongs to another person is negative and the universe will not respond to negativity. Do no harm to none!
What Is Your Life’s Purpose?
If you have a life you have a purpose, this statement is so true for everyone. Everyone on this earth has a purpose in life. Some people are lucky enough to know what their life’s purpose is from an early age. While others either find out later in life or they feel they have no purpose.
If you are one of those people who feel they have no purpose or don’t know what it is, it’s not too late to find out. Since I was a teenager, I knew what my life’s purpose was or shall I say I knew part of my purpose. Unfortunately, I did not completely follow through with it 100%. I was only following it half of the time and at one point in my life I gave part of it up and went another route.
It was not until my 36th birthday that I realized my mistake. I received a message that I needed to go back on the path that I was destined for and not do it half a**ed, but to put all my heart and soul into it and devote 100% to my life’s purpose. Since that message I have not looked back.
I realized I was not fulfilling the purpose that my Creator had for me. I know you may be wondering what my life’s purpose is. I will tell you what I thought it wasn’t. I didn’t think I was cut out to be a wife and mother; I told everyone as a teenager that I would never get married or have kids! Boy was I so wrong with that one that is why I stated earlier that I only knew part of my life’s purpose.
Not only was being a wife part of my life’s purpose, but also to bring into this world 4 beautiful children. But it does not end there, I am also meant to raise a child with special needs. My 4-year-old son has Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome to be exact; he also has Sensory Processing Disorder. Guess what? Although he has special needs, he also has a purpose in life. I will talk about part of his life’s purpose at a later time.
The second part of my life’s purpose is to be a servant to the people and to share my gifts with them. I help people live their lives to the fullest potential; I do this by providing my intuitive skills as life and business coach.
I help people to change their lives, relationships, careers, businesses and so on. I find great joy in this. I love to hear that someone has succeeded, whether I helped them or not.
You too can find your life’s purpose and I can help you! It’s not too late to get on the journey that your Creator has for you! If you are one of the lucky ones that know your life purpose are you living it? Are you doing it? If you’re not why not, what is stopping you from living your life’s purpose?
Don’t let time continue to pass you by. Don’t regret not taking the steps you need to in order to start living the purpose your Creator set for you. Contact me today to see how I can help. I offer a free 30 minute coaching session to all first time clients. The time is now, what are you waiting for?
God Bless,Keep Strong and always hold your head up high. Remember God made you because you are you and that’s beautiful!
Prayer is your Chance to have a Conversation with God
When people think of prayer, they automatically think of saying prayers they learned growing up in Church. I was born into the Catholic faith, so I was taught the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be. There were many other prayers I was taught, but those were the top three.
You are also taught to pray for the sick, the poor, the deceased and for anyone who may need a prayer. You learn to pray to God to forgive you for any sins you may have made or any wrong doing you have done.
Some people feel that you should only pray for other people and not yourself. You should not pray for material things, because that is wrong. Many people believe in many different reasons for prayer, it all depends on how you were brought up.
No matter what you believe in when it comes to prayer or religion, believe this prayer is a chance to have a conversation with God! Take the chance to talk with him; he is waiting to hear from you. God does not judge contrary to what some people want you to believe. He does not care about your color, gender, height, weight, disabilities or who you love.
What he cares about is your well-being and the relationship he has with you! God wants you to leave your burdens with him, he wants to take away all of your sorrow and pain. Some people feel that because of their actions and the way they behave or the wrong they have done in their lives that God will be mad at you and turn his back on you. For some they are actually taught this. That is far from the truth.
He may be sad for a minute, but the God I know will never turn his back on his children. He is waiting for you to welcome him back into your life. He is waiting for you with open arms. He wants you to have a conversation with him.
Prayer is your chance to have a conversation with God. This is your chance to tell him your worries, your fears, your joys. To ask him for help with anything that is burdening you! Tell him whatever is on your mind, he is listening without judgment.
It’s your chance to thank him for all that you have your life, the air you breathe, the clothes on your back and the soles on your feet. It’s your time to thank him for all who enter in your life whether positive or negative. For the lessons you learned and for the lessons you would like to learn.
Prayer is your chance to have a conversation with God, what conversation would you like to have with him? He is listening and waiting for you with open arms!
Here is a prayer that came to me as wrote this post, feel free to use it and share it with others share this post with others as well. I made is as an image so you can save it to your computers.

What is Santeria?
Santeria is an Afro-Cuban religion based on the mixture between some of the magic religious beliefs and practices of the Yoruba people and those of the Catholic Church. Santeria is a Spanish term that means a confluence of Saints and their worship or way of the Saints. These Saints are in reality disguises for some of the Yoruba deities, known as Orishas.
During the slave trade the Yoruba’s who were brought to Cuba were forbidden from practicing their religion by Spanish masters. In order to continue their magical and religious observances safely, the slaves identified and disguised the Orishas with some of the Catholic Saints worshipped by the Spanish. With this they were able to worship their deities under the very noses of the Spanish without being in danger of punishment.
The same thing took place in Brazil, where the new religion became known as Candomle and Macumba. In Cuba where the Yoruba people mainly stayed they became known as Lucumi a word that means friendship. Most of the words or terms that are used in Santeria would not be known as Yoruba. The Yoruba people are originally from Nigeria.
The Practice became very popular and the creoles, who were descendants of the Spanish, began to practice the new religion. They were known as Santeros and Santeras, who are the priest and priestesses of Santeria. The Saints are identified with natural forces, as well as human interests. They also have human characteristics. This makes them very real to the practitioners and easy to identify with. In most cases the Orishas have many aspects or paths.
In each of the aspects the Orishas have different qualities and traits. Although they remain true to his/her identity, this makes it easier to find a connection between the Orisha and their children. Central beliefs of Santeria state that “every human being is ruled by one of the Orishas/Saints in a specific aspect of that Orisha”. It does not matter whether or not that person believes in Santeria. One major myth of Santeria is that we are followers of a cult or sect, which is not at all true! It is a religion where God is seen as the creator of the universe and humanity.
The Orishas who were disguised as Catholic Saints are senders of God’s powers and are the mediators between humanity and the Supreme Being. God in Santeria is known as Olodumare. The power of God is a cosmic energy, from which the universe was created. The power is known as Ashe. Even though there is only one kind of Ashe, it can be expressed or manifested in many different ways. Each Saint can manipulate this energy and use it in his or her own special influence.
The main purpose of the practitioners of Santeria is to acquire this Ashe in order to achieve their desires. In order to receive an Ashe you must give an ebbo (an offering) to the Orisha who controls the objects of one’s desire. An offering may be a cleansing, fruits or the Orishas favorite food. And in some unusual cases an animal sacrifice. These practices have given Santeria much undeserved negative publicity. Most of the animals sacrificed are chicken and roosters and are eaten by the Santeros after their rituals, unless a ritual is done to cleanse an individual of illness or what are considered dangerous situations.
At no time do the Santeros or Santeras in engage in sinister acts and do not believe in making animal sacrifices routinely. According to the beliefs of Santeria Orishas become upset and displeased when animals are given often and indiscriminately. That is why the most common offerings are fruits and favorite foods. Animal sacrifice is only done when an Orisha demands it or accepts it. This usually happens when a person’s life is believed to be in jeopardy. But the Orisha must approve of the sacrifice before it can be offered.
Although there is much to be learned about Santeria, we hope that this information has enlightened you and changed your view about our religion. And leads you to read and learn all there is to know about Santeria.
